Dear Esplanade Residents,
Your Esplanade at Artisan Lakes Lifestyle Team is excited to share the May Lifestyle Guide. Inside each month’s Lifestyle Guide, you will receive updates on the Lifestyle Team, community happenings, as well as events and activities that are coming up!
With Memorial Day coming up this month, Esplanade at Artisan Lakes would like to take an opportunity to remember those who gave their lives for our country, and have allowed the rest of us the chance to live an inspired lifestyle. We’d also like to thank all of the veterans and family members of veterans in our community for their service! Thank you!!
As you start planning your social calendar for the month of May, please be sure to RSVP for all events and activities you’re interested in attending. RSVPs are important so proper accommodations can be made for the group.

your Lifestyle Manager for further group &
club information.

Meet Your Neighbors...
A: Lori is originally from the Boston area and New Hampshire. She has lived in Florida since 2002, but still maintains a summer cottage in New Hampshire. Betty is from all over the US having been a "military brat.” Her husband was Canadian and she lived in Toronto for a time before settling once again in upstate New York.
Q: Which Lifestyle activities are you most interested in? A: We both enjoy social gatherings, cards, and games and look forward to some of the day trips.
Q: What do you like to do in your spare time? (i.e. hobbies, volunteer activities, etc.) A: We have season tickets to local theaters and symphonies. We love to get away on a spontaneous weekend adventure when possible and we always make time to visit family and friends. Now that we are finally settled and our busy season at work is over, we are looking forward to a Mediterranean cruise and land tour of Ireland in June.
Q: What would your friends & family say is your “signature dish”? A: Lori's is a toss up between chicken wings and lasagna. Betty is famous for her crème brulee.
Q: Tell us a rewarding or satisfying experience you’ve experienced so far at Esplanade? A: We were ecstatic to come to our new home and find the baffle, we had so strongly fought over, was removed.
Q: Tell us about your family! (i.e. children, pets, etc.) A: Lori has 3 sons who are all married and living in the Boston area. They have presented her with 5 grandchildren ages 1 to 11. Betty has been "adopted" by Lori's wonderful family.
Q: Spring is in the air… what is your favorite Spring-time activity? A: Cruising in the t-bird to an outdoor concert or sporting event & a stop at Sweet Berries on the way home.
Q: Why did you choose Esplanade at Artisan Lakes to call home? A: It started out as an investment venture for Lori, who used to live in the nearby community of Fairways and watched the original Taylor-Woodrow community start and stop. When Betty's husband died unexpectedly last June, we decided to pool our resources and live in the house ourselves. We were both interested in an active, maintenance-free community. Artisan Lakes fit the bill perfectly.
Q: Are you originally from Florida? If not, where are you from?
