Are Human Rights Universal?Explore this important Issue On Human Rights Day

The United Nations Association of Tampa Bay, Global Healing, and the Eckerd College Center for Spiritual Life and Campus Ministries present a program to explore critical issues of human rights for our day.

Keynote Speaker: Dr. Bill FeliceDr. Felice is a professor of Political Science at Eckerd Colleges and teaches courses in international political economy, international organization, international law, and human rights.

Dr. Felice will address questions such as: Is the concept of human rights primarily a western concept?, How are human rights reconciled with religious practice? Who defines human rights?, Can developing countries afford human rights without assistance?
