Human Rights, Development and Dignity Global School Seminar
Through a cross-cultural exchange, U.S. and Salvadoran participants will study human rights principles for working with communities, and liberation theology’s perspectives on dignity in a faith context. Participants will develop tools to avoid tendencies to disempower those they want to support, transforming their ministry and mission using these principles.
To facilitate shared learning, we encourage participants to read Robert Lupton's Toxic Charity and other provided readings on Rights-Based Development prior to the course.
