New Onboarding ProcessPresent Process for Benefits Eligible Staff
•HRMS Position▫ Chain of approvals
• STARS Posting▫ Chain of approvals▫ Completion of the hiring process (HP)
•HRMS assignment created by department• Benefits Orientation▫ Approval of Assignment + 1 day ▫ Acquire needed tools (parking pass, network login, ASAP…)
New Onboarding Process
•HRMS Position (no change)▫Chain of approvals
•STARS Posting▫Chain of approvals▫Posting▫Hiring Proposal (No Change)▫With HP approval (New Assignment Form)
New Onboarding ProcessHR Onboarding Begins
• Onboarding will take place 1st – 3rd Mondays of each month▫ Except when Monday is a holiday
Receives new assignment form▫Form content▫Timing of the form
• Sends offer letter and Preboarding packet▫Electronic vs. Manual▫Confirmation of attendance
• Create the assignment in HRMS▫Approval of assignment in HRMS
