What is Technology?

The application of scientific knowledge for practical purposes,esp. in industry.

Machinery and equipment developed from such scientificknowledge.

refers to the making, modification, usage, and knowledge of tools, machines, techniques, crafts, systems, and methods of organization, in order to solve a problem, improve a preexistingsolution to a problem, achieve a goal, handle an appliedinput/output relation or perform a specific function.

1.Efficiency and Cost-effectiveness

- Productivity increases when business processing tasks can be automated. Withtechnology, business goals are achieved in speedy and efficient means, as aid inhuman labor limitations.

- Technology also allows business to perform more at less cost to resources. 

2. Business Operations and Strategies

- Managers and Executives are able to come up with better business decisions andstrategies in achieving the organization's goals through the aids of technology.

- Computer programs such as Office applications, AutoCAD, design-rendering soft-wares, and databases allow better work operations.

- Technology allows better organization and security of company's valuable informationand assets. Digitized information improves our ability to preserve and protect data,

and also promotes easier access for everyone.
