In all these programmesmainly open source software aretaught in various fields like operatingsys tem L inux, Integrated LibraryManagement Software-Koha, InstitutionalRepository Creation Software-Dspace,Open Journal Systems (OJS), Web-Development sof tware - Joomla, DataAnalytics Software-“R” etc.

Customized short-term trainingprogrammes are popular among the libraryand information science professionalsbecause of the emphasis on hands-onexercises.
