Item 284-01 – CEF, Siberia 1918-1919 – 1919, on active service cover from FPO Canadian Expeditionary Forces in Siberia to Winnipeg. According to my research, this cover could have been sent by Pte John Lindsay Adamson (from Winnipeg), a cook, to his mother. No return address. $400.00

A mimeograph is a low-cost duplicating machine that works by forcing ink through a stencil onto paper. Unusual airmail labels both side. $30.00 SOLD

Item 284-43 – Senator Sir Rodolphe Forget – 1906, Senate free franked cover signed by Sir Rodolph Forget to Quebec (to Senator Joseph Shehyn). Forget was a businessman, politician, and philanthropist; born in Terrebonne, LC. One of the more controversial figures of the early 20th century in Canada, he was president and director of several of the country’s most important commercial and industrial enterprises. He pioneered major initiatives in transportation and banking and he played a key role in the evolution of the hydroelectric industry in Montreal and Quebec City. $60.00
