Thesearetheissuesfromthereportthatwesentyou,thatwerenotdiscussed:

-CQCfailstocentrallytrackintelligencefromEmploymentTribunals,whichis

senttoCQCasaprescribedbodyunderPIDA.CQCshouldbeproactivelylearningfromthepatternsandregularlyreportingonthem.Itdoesnot.

-CQCisnottrackingotherevidencethatwhistleblowersaresufferingdetrimentandrepeatedlyclaimstowhistleblowersthatithasnoremitfor‘employmentdisputes’.InfactreprisalisagovernanceissueandCQCshouldbeactivelyseekinganyreportsofreprisal,asevidencepertinenttotheWellLeddomain.

-CQCrefusestoinvestigateanywhistleblowercaseseventhoughMike

RichardsChiefInspectorpreviouslyclaimedtoparliamentthatCQCwould“investigateeverycase”.CQCrefusestoinvestigateevenwherethereareclustersofwhistleblowingcontacts.

-CQCclaimedthatitheldnocentralinformationonwhistleblowingcontacts

thatithasreceived.Iftrue,thissuggeststhatCQCisnotlearningfromthem,asparliamenthasrecommended.SomedoubtsabouttheaccuracyofCQC’sclaiminfactarise,frominformationthatCQC’schiefofficersgavetoparliamenton6December2016.ThisrevealedthatCQCdidholdsomecentraldata.CQCshouldbeproactivelycentrallytracking,analysing,actinguponandpublishingdataonthewhistleblowingcontactsthatithasreceivedandhowithasrespondedtothem.

IwouldbegratefulifyoucouldclarifywhetheryouhaveanyactionplanonthesespecificaspectsofseriousCQCfailure.Pleasealsoadviseifyouarewillingtodiscusstheseissuesatalaterpoint.
