2007 Business of the Year AwardA.S.A.P. Mortgage Corp.

Her own frustrations as a homebuyer convinced Irene Amato of thiscommunity’s urgent need for knowledgeable and concerned pro-fessionals to help people purchase what’s likely to be the mostexpensive investment of their lifetimes. “If only someone had beenthere to help me understand what was going on, I could haveavoided so many obstacles,” she explains. As an experienced busi-nesswoman and entrepreneur, Irene launched A.S.A.P. MortgageCorp., a full-service mortgage firm in 2001. Since then, she and herstaff have helped numerous clients by providing honest, sincere, and compassionate support.

Licensed to operate in New York, Connecticut, and Florida, A.S.A.P.has helped strengthen communities through increased home own-ership. It’s hard to believe that Irene started A.S.A.P. Mortgage outof her Cortlandt home. She quickly opened her first office onCrompond Road in Cortlandt in November, 2002, and found it nec-essary to add a branch on East Main Street in May, 2005. She isassisted by a team of specialists in residential home mortgages, debt consolidation, refinancing, new construction, and home equi-ty lines of credit. The company’s motto is “Making Your Dreams aReality” and it takes special pride in working with first-time buyersand making their transaction as smooth as possible.

A.S.A.P. Mortgage is active in the community and a strong support-er of the Hudson Valley Gateway Chamber of Commerce. Irene’samazing success story serves as an inspiration for all would-beHudson Valley Gateway entrepreneurs. A.S.A.P. Mortgage certainlyis the Chamber’s 2007 Business of the Year.
