HUBUNGAN MODEL SEPTIC TANK JAMBAN KELUARGA DENGAN JUMLAH BAKTERI COLIFORM PADA AIR BERSIH SUMUR GALI Cunaedi 1 , Sayono 2 , Didik Sumanto 3 Fakultas Kesehatan Masyarakat Universitas Muhammadiyah Semarang Abstrak: Latarbelakang : Septic tank merupakan tempat penampungan tinja manusia. standar monitorig septic tank maupun penggunaan masih belum jelas. Selain itu, tinja manusia sumber pencemar air bersih. Hasil pemeriksaan laboratorium yang dilaksanakan menunjukkan bahwa sumur gali telah tercemar coliform. Tujuan : Penelitian untuk mengetahui hubungan model septic tank jamban keluarga dengan bakteri coliform dalam air bersih sumur gali. Metode penelitian : yang digunakan yaitu observasional analitik dengan pendekatan cross sectional. Data pemeriksaan laboratorium terhadap sampel air sumur gali,kondisi septik tank dinilai dari tutup, kondisi keretakan, kebocoran dan jarak septik tank pada sumur gali. Data sekunder diperoleh pada saat pelaksanaan penelitian seperti keluarga yang memiliki sumur gali dan memiliki septik tank. Sampel ditentukan dengan metode proposional stratified randam sampling dan diperoleh 450 septik tank cetak langsung dan 500 septik tank bis beton. Data dianalisis secara univariat dan bivariat dengan menggunakan uji korelasi chi square. Hasil : Penelitian menunjukkan bahwa model septic tank, dinding septic tank, lantai septic tank, tutup septic tank ada hubungngan dengan jumlah coliform. dalam air sumur gali yang digunakan oleh masyarakat Botekan Kecamatan Ulujami. Kesimpulan : Pemerintah daerah disarankan untuk melakukan perbaikan konstruksi septic tank, yang memenuhi syarat kesehatan, dan sosialisasi kepada masyarakat tentang penggunaan air bersih dan kaporisasi. Objective: The research to find out the correlation of septic tank model of family latrine with coliform bacteria in clean water of dug well. Research method: used is analytic observational with cross sectional approach. Laboratory examination data on dug well water samples, septic tank conditions were assessed from lid, crack condition, leakage and septic tank spacing at dug wells. Secondary data were obtained at the time of conducting the study such as a family having dug wells and septic tanks. Samples were determined by proportional stratified sampling method and obtained 450 septic tank direct print and 500 septic tank concrete bus. Data were analyzed by univariate and bivariate using chi square correlation test. Results: The study showed that the model of septic tank, septic tank wall, septic tank floor, septic tank lid was connected with coliform number. in the dug well water used by the Botekan community of Ulujami District. Conclusion: Local governments are advised to undertake the construction of septic tanks, which meet health requirements, and socialize to the community about the use of clean water and chlorination.
