The development of Mobile Broadband (MBB) has created a need
to integrate MBB with traditional trunking for efficiency and
performance. Based on an in-depth understanding of the requirements, Huawei has introduced the EP680 and
EP650 professional LTE broadband trunking handsets. Each of these handsets integrates voice, data, and video
services into a single device. Except for voice-only trunking, mobile users can communicate using video and
Geographic Information System (GIS) services at the same time, providing better collaboration between response
personnel. Compared with the EP650, the EP680 offers additional functions, such as a front camera, Bluetooth,
and Wi-Fi.

The DBS3900 supports high data rates. Downlink and uplink rates can reach up to 100 Mbit/s and 50 Mbit/s @
20 MHz per cell, respectively. For coverage of remote sites such as offshore drilling platforms, the DBS3900 can
provide ultra-long-distance coverage up to 100 kilometers. For railways, the DBS3900 provides up to 430 km/h
high-speed train coverage.

High Integration
A typical public LTE core network incorporates the Mobility Management Entity (MME), Serving Gateway (SGW),
Packet Data Network Gateway (PGW), Home Subscriber Server (HSS), and Policy And Charging Rules Function
(PCRF) network elements. The eCNS210 integrates all of these elements into one subrack, enabling network
deployment with minimal integration effort. The systems high level of integration also reduces deployment risk

eSCN230eLTE Core Network for SME Network
The eSCN230 is a 2U LTE integrated Evolved Packet Core (EPC), which provides a compact, cost-effective
broadband trunking solution. This solution offers high reliability and is ideally suited for Small- and Medium-sized
Enterprise (SME) networks.
Miniaturization and High Integration
With the goal of building SME networks, Huawei has designed the highly-integrated eSCN230 by combining a
Home Subscriber Server (HSS), Serving Gateway (SGW), Mobility Management Entity (MME), and Packet Data
Network Gateway (PDN-GW) in a 2U, lightweight box. This easily deployed system provides exceptional flexibility
for low-density-subscriber-area deployments.
Dual Backup for High Reliability
The eSCN230 supports dual-backup operation to achieve high reliability. In dual-backup mode, two eSCN230s
work in a data-plane-based load-balancing configuration with active sessions for all connected users to minimize
user data loss. This active connectivity maintenance improves system reliability.
Interconnection and Interoperability

managed by dispatching consoles.
High reliability: Core devices, such as the dispatcher and base station, can take advantage of dual-host
standby to avoid a network-wide breakdown in the case of a single-host failure.
Distributed deployment mode: Since IP networks are used for transmission, the system works with data
links such as Metropolitan Area Networks (MANs), optical fibers, and satellite links. Unlike conventional voice
communication that is constrained by the transmission distance of copper cables, the devices in the eAPP
system can be far apart from each other.
Ample communication modes: The system can interwork with a wide variety of networks and devices such
