Description
The frequency standard NFG-1 provides up to seven 1PPS signals which are generated by a built-in GPS receiverand a GPS-disciplined frequency standard. A holdover circuit ensures high stability of the 1 PPS and 10MHz signalin case of GPS reception loss.
Front view of the NFG-1
One 1PPS BNC output is provided at the front panel. The LEDs signalize the quality of GPS reception and thestate of the frequency standard.

The GPS antenna input with switchable bias voltage for active antennas is fed through to a GPS antenna output forother GPS devices located at the same site. The six SUB-D 9 connectors fitted at the rear side, provide the 1 PPSsignal (CMOS logic level) and GPS NMEA Sentences (RS232) for external equipment.
