The Lightning Thief

A twelve year old boy who is dyslexic. He has been to various different schools the latest schools he has attended was Yancy Academy but he got dismissed from the Yancy Academy. Later in the story the evil monsters are called Kindly Ones try to kill Percy Jackson. Percy attends Camp Half-Blood so he can be trained and not be killed by the evil guys. Later in the story Percy needs to find Zeus's bolt but one of Percy's tutors at the camp thinks Hades has stolen it. Zeus believes Poseidon (Percy’s Dad) had Percy steal the bolt. Percy plans to travel to the underworld during his quest he finds Medusa, the Furies and Aries which Percy kills him later. When Percy encounters Hades he thinks that Percy stole his Helm of Darkness, and then Percy realizes that Zeus’s bolt was in his backpack all this time. So he returned to New York to returned Zeus bolt. Toward the end, Percy returned to his mother and attends another school. Percy gives Medusa head to his mom which she turns Gabe (Percy’s mom boyfriend) into stone, they sell the statute and they get enough money to support each other.
