Do you love working with kids and making them smile?

Buddies Days are a care and respite program run by Vinnies Youth and Young Adult volunteers. They are a one-day

activity, in which kids aged 5-12 years participate in a recreational activity (such as sports days, craft days, movies, ice

skating or swimming) and are designed to offer kids a break from any hardships they may be experiencing. In some

areas we also run Buddies Days for teenagers. All activities are organised at no cost to the families or volunteers. The

volunteers on a Buddies Day participate in the activities alongside with the kids and ensure that their day is both safe

and lots of fun. Our volunteers are provided with training and support.
