Users now have enhanced functionality on many of the GP Practice data measures by having iView functionality.

Clicking on the link opens the iView solution, enabling users to compare practice, CCG, PCT, and SHA level data for any of the 280 GP Practice measures.

Practice information is displayed for each practice

Users can click on a filter to see other practices that have the same criteria

By dragging the CCG measure into “Rows”, users can compare CCGs.

Users can also view the data by SHA / PCT / Practice.

Users can then select the CCGs they would like to compare.

Users can also add filters for age and deprivation bandings – enabling users to compare practices with others with similar practice demographics

Drag “Deprivation” into the “Filters”

Click the filter

Make a selection, the data will now be refreshed

By selecting the “Chart option, users can select different views from the drop down menu.

There are options to view the data in a bar chart, stacked bar chart, line chart, or scatter chart.

If users are carrying out multiple comparisons using large data sets (all GP Practices for multiple measures for example) they may prefer to stop the view auto-generating.

Users can select the Icon to pause the query, before selecting to run the query again using the following icons

Users can gain enhanced functionality by registering and signing in to the system. The enables them to:

1. save their selection(s) for future use

2. Share their selection(s) with other users

Once signed in, the new icon “Saves current view” appears.

Clicking on the “share” link enables users to send their query to colleagues so they can view the same data.

Drag additional measures into the columns section to compare on multiple fronts.
