In loving memory of Moomy and Larry Douglas: were it not for both of you, the two of us simply would not have traveled this road together. Our joy has always been tempered by your absence.
Heartfelt thanks to Jack, Mary Rose and Debra Turner: the bonds of blood are not the only element that creates who we hold close as family.
For Marty: why have a metal truck roof when plywood would do the trick?
Daisy, our darling girl: all that is good and true has come to us because of you. You remain the gentlest and kindest soul that has ever shined their light on us. Without question, we three will meet again, this side or the other.
With love and a singular devotion to Brian and Johnnie: 25 years ago, the four of us began our journey together as a family. No matter what the challenges were that we faced, we never let go of one another. That alone brought all of us here and now to the doorstep of Lake Heaven in Michigan, where the view looking forward will forever be ours to call home.

Let love and faithfulness never leave you; bind them around your neck, write them on the tablet of your heart.
Proverb 3:3

It has been said that if you choose a job you love, you will never work a day in your life. We can genuinely attest to the truth of that maxim. Despite the long hours and countless miles that we have spent on the road, traveling the country as we searched for the next great find, this extraordinary and adventurous life has always felt more like a labor of love than work, allowing these past 25 years to disappear like the turn of a page.
Yet hand in hand with having this spectacular life, we now know what we did not in 1990 when we began: to grow and become noteworthy dealers of integrity and stature, to stay in touch and remain focused on the ever changing times and tastes of our clients meant putting in the dedicated effort necessary to raise the bar in order to keep our standards above the norm, year after year, without fail and without excuse.
Along the way, we faced many obstacles, expected and otherwise, and handled challenging disappointments, both large and small. Yet the triumphs we celebrated on this journey have far outnumbered the difficulties. That joy gratefully reminded us that we have been honored with a singular and magical life, free of boredom and monotony. We have experienced this wonderment together as husband and wife as well as business partners, all the while being able to share with our children the rewards of our hard work.
When deciding what to feature on the cover of this celebratory anniversary catalog, nothing better represented this adventure of ours more than the diminutive pin cushion. With a combination of finding real luck and love while reaching for the stars and beyond, this small piece speaks to who we are and will remain, as we stand together hand in hand, looking forward to the years to come.
Herewith is a sampling of our latest discoveries.

Press on: nothing in the world can take the place of persistence.
Talent will not; nothing is more common than unsuccessful men with talent.
Genius will not; unrewarded genius is almost a proverb.
Education will not; the world is full of educated derelicts.
Persistence and determination alone are omnipotent.
