HS MARIACHI AUDITION REQUIREMENTS

INCOMING 9th, 10th, 11th, and 12th Grade Students Students should prepare the following for auditions:

Interview & Resume

Resume summarizing the students’ educational and performance awards and

honors. Please attach a current photo.

Performance

Perform 4 major scales C, G, D & A

One prepared piece of your preference or one of the sample selections

from memory

Use this time to show your abilities on your instrument!

Vocalization

Students can choose one prepared vocal piece of their preference or must complete a short vocalization exercise at the audition time.

Note: Resumes and headshots will not be returned to auditioning students after the selection process.
