WHY 37.5™ TECHNOLOGY?

Comfort in clothing is greatly influenced by the temperature and humidity next to

you skin, an area known as the microclimate. For the average person, the body

strives to maintain an optimal core temperature of 37.5° C. You are also most

comfortable when the microclimate next to your skin has a relative humidity close

to 37.5%. Hence the name, 37.5™ Technologies, designed to keep your microcli-

mate in that optimal “37.5” zone.

HAS THE TECHNOLOGY CHANGED?

SHORT ANSWER IS NO.

37.5™ Technology still works to maintain the optimum relative humidity in your

microclimate, enabling you to perform better, longer. It still dries up to 5x faster

than similar fabrics. It still is made with naturally derived materials so there are

no harsh chemicals to irritate your skin. And its active particles are still perma-

nently embedded into yarn and will never wash out or

get tired.

Simple Explanation: 37.5™ active particle technology captures and releases

moisture vapor to maintain the optimum relative humidity in your microclimate,

enabling you to perform better, longer.

GEEK EXPLANATION

Comfort is tied to heat flow: the body is an engine and needs to release excess

heat. Heat and water vapor are tied together, as the body’s management of water

vapor allows for the management of heat in an never-ending cycle to maintain an

optimum core temperature and stay comfortable. The more efficient the clothing

system is at helping the body to manage water vapr, the less energy the body

needs to spend doing so.
