Emergency AssistanceEurop Assistance - Europ Assistance is recognised as a leading European insurance company offering a variety of health related services such as 24-hour emergency services, medical resources, trauma coun-selling and general health support within its policies. Intek Travel is the recognised ground handling agent for Uganda and the eastern region of the DRC for Europ Assistance global network, upon request by Europ Assistance emergency operations.

All enrolled members who travel to Uganda and the eastern regions of the Democratic Republic of Congo will benefit from our logistical and financial support should there be an emergency requirement. We also manage general medical cases for Europ Assistance affiliated members travelling to or living in Uganda.

Medevac Assistance - Intek Travel also provides assistance in medical emergencies either by road transportation or Air Ambulance within Uganda and the eastern sector of the Democratic Republic of Congo. Intek Travel also closely collaborates with a trained UK Paramedic who offers medical services to various international Non Governmental Organisations, European embassies and individuals. Due to our outstand-ing reputation and based on long-standing agreements, Intek Travel can solicit nearly all of the above listed medical services on an invoice basis, subject to an e-mail confirmation or LPO. Logistics ServicesAir Charter Services - We offer a wide range of air charter services in the East African Union (EAU). Based on our extensive expertise as a regional travel operator and considering essential discretion and safety priorities, we are in a position to secure the best available air charter services for our clients. Car Rental Services - Intek Travel has established contacts with a range of international car rental services - such as Sixt and Europcar - to facilitate our clients travelling worldwide with quality ground transportation services. Photo, Film & Media Management ServicesIntek Travel also offers its expert advise and services to international news media as well as nature / wildlife photographers and film crews travelling to Uganda. More specifically, we would be able to manage your requirements in the following categories.

Media Accreditation Services - The Uganda Media Council requires all foreign journalist and all film crew mem-bers to be registered and accredited according to estab-lished procedures. Intek Travel will be able to assist journal-ists, photographers and film crews with the requirements for media cards and accreditation.

Equipment Clearing Services - The government of Uganda further requires all film crews intending to travel to Uganda to temporarily clear their camera and film / video equipment at immigration on arrival.

Intek Travel ensures that the required clearing procedures for all media equipment is established and paid for in advance to avoid red tape and delays on arrival at Entebbe airport.
