Defined link between an employee and an iSeries userid so users can easily go from employee connect to admin connect

RES.000 Control Access to Employees Category access expanded to include F (employee folder)

with ability to restrict user per category to specific comments, i.e. Add, Change, Delete

PAY.ACC Control Access to functions AdminConnect now listens to PAY.ACC to provide specific

EVALUATIONS EIS.207 Evaluation Type Codes

New approving/verifier userids added … this automates the evaluation process, i.e. administrator in AC attaches the evaluation, HR confirms and accepts the evaluation and then automatically through AC those evaluations for the verifying ID will show up on Employee Main for those staff until they are marked as verified.

EIS.380 Employee Information Evaluation view to show attachments are on-file, disallow

date changes once attachments are on-file.

EIS.461 Evaluation Checklist Formats Reports are now available through AC so if you define Zxx

formats then users will be able to select and run these checklists for their staff.

LEAVES EIS.539 Employee Leave Committee Grid

New report to produce a grid of leave requests that require committee approval. Grid shows points received per committee member and summary of request.

EIS.910 Build PO Reqs from Leave Requests New option to build employee advance requisitions (can then

go through steps to AP cheque) based on approved leaves that have estimated costs defined to be included in advance

Nightly job to email location contact1 if there are leaves more than X days old not verified by the location

Allow option to approve/deny employee applications and send email notifications to employees

POS.561 Build Certificate/Endorsements Added auto incrementing build selection, i.e. check main

endorsement if employee has, then go to 2nd endorsement, etc Great if districts are counting sessions per employee and a certain

number of sessions triggers a pay increase POS.562 Workshop Completion Certificates

New option to electronically file a copy of the certificate allowing employees to access their own certificates through EC

Added option to send email notification if certificates are e-filed so employee knows to go and get/view certificate

POS.566 Copy Workshop Definition New option to copy a workshop to as many as 5 others with new dates. Does

New option to produce a profile for a single employee of all the job postings they have applied for in a specified date range

endorsement expire/missing information. This will help applicants to know what information is expected from them and still outstanding

APPLY will do an auto-save for profile information & categories just in case applicant made changes

APPLY auto marks short list (based on job posting) so applications appear right away for administrators

Programming Goals for 2012 eFile and viewing documents: Gain more control of

enduser options in previewing eFiled documents (ability by category to make documents ‘read only’ no ability to print the .pdf or copy contents for instance)

With the new .Docx (x meaning XML) there is potential to merge Word documents instead of PAI.280 letters ….

There is no in-list .. Yikes what do we do next?
