With Firehouse Subs expanding exponentially, we have to ensure our guest services department

grows as well. To guarantee this growth and success, Desirae Ackerman has joined the

Firehouse Subs headquarters family as our newest guest services associate.

Desirae has been with the brand since 2007 and proves to be no stranger to Firehouse Subs,

making her an incredible asset to the HQ office!

As a guest services associate, Desirae’s primary goals are to assist with customer retention, guest

feedback and to assure that quality information regarding the customer’s issues, concerns or

experience is provided.

Ivo has joined the Firehouse Subs family as our newest marketing and sales intern. Ivo comes to

us with prior marketing experience as Jacksonville University's former River House student

supervisor, where he took part in helping coordinate events and providing assistance to guests.

As the marketing and sales intern, Ivo is responsible for bringing awareness about the Firehouse

Subs brand and its catering options to various locations, as well as local businesses.

We’re excited to see Ivo grow and for the new ideas he’ll bring to HQ!

Kori Road Cleanup

Thanks to Katie, Gina, Ronda, Lori and Kristen for another Kori Road cleanup success!

The next Kori Road cleanup will take place on March 25 at 11 a.m. Six to seven good Samaritans

are needed.

If you would like to participate, please send an email to Kristen Moore viakmoore@firehousesubs.com.

Please remember to ask for your supervisor's permission before participating.

As always:

Water is provided to all volunteers on the day of the cleanup.

Casual wear and hats are encouraged; please feel free to bring a change of clothes.

All volunteers will receive one hour flex time.

Daylight saving time is coming up to achieve longer evening daylight, so prepare to set your clocks

an hour ahead of the standard time on March 13.

Sure, we get extra daylight but it doesn’t mean waking up earlier on Monday is going to be easy.
