Intelligences

Verbal-linguistic intelligence

• Well-developed verbal skills and sensitivity to the sounds, meanings and rhythms of words.

Copywriters, editors, historians, journalists, lawyers, linguists, poets, media consultants, speakers, translators, TV and radio presenters, voice-over artists, writer

Logical-mathematical intelligence

• Ability to think conceptually and abstractly, and capacity to discern logical and numerical patterns

• Analyze problems, perform mathematical calculations, scientific reasoning

• Analysts, arbitrators, bankers, certified public accountants, computer programmers, engineers, researchers, scientists, statisticians

Spatial-visual intelligence

• Capacity to think in images and pictures,to visualize accurately and abstractly.

• Anthropologists, athletes, biologists, dancers, geologists, instrumentalists, nurses, PE teachers, physical therapists, physicians, sign-language interpreters

Musical intelligence

• Ability to produce and appreciate rhythm, pitch and timber.

Roles

• Composers, DJs, entertainers, music producers, musical instrument repair, musical performers, singers, voice coaches

Interpersonal intelligence

• Capacity to detect and respond appropriately to the moods, motivations and desires of others.

Roles

• Advertising professionals, care givers, mentors, counselors, educators, health providers, mediators, politicians, psychologists

Intrapersonal intelligence

• Capacity to be self-aware and in tune with inner feelings, values beliefs and thinking processes.

Roles• One who is self-aware and

involved in the process of changing personal thoughts, beliefs, and behavior in relation to situation.

Naturalistic intelligence

• Ability to recognize and categorize plants, animals and other objects in nature

Interests

• Agriculture; horticulture; archeology; volcanology; ornithology; oceanography; geology; botany; biology; ecology; astronomy; zoology; paleontology; meteorology

Existential intelligence

• Sensitivity and capacity to tackle deep questions about human existence such as:

and if so what are they like?

• Can animals understand us, or do animals go to heaven?

• Are there really ghosts?

Existential intelligence

• Where do we go when we die?• Why are some people evil?• Is there life on other planets?• Where is heaven?• Where does God live?
