Creating the Magazine

We started off by importing our chosen picture into photoshop

We then moved the picture to our canvas which was the correct magazine cover size, which is 8.5 x 11inches

However the picture width didn’t match the canvas size

We wanted to enhance the colours of the picture and make it look more vibrant thus, we used the levels tool. Also we wanted to make the picture have an orange tone to it to reflect our country genre

We also used gausian blur on the background as we didn’t need to see it but we did need the colour it provided.

We added some text and decided to write on the corners as this looked stylish and modern

We added what is most commonly found on adverts, for example the release date and website address etc

We finished by adding some colour to emphasis the Pop aspect of our genre
