Installing Workbox Video Plugin• Option 1: install from WordPress Admin Panel• Step 1: go to Admin Panel, select Plugins -> Add new• Step 2: search for our plugin. Enter something like “workbox”

vimeo-youtube-plugin/• Step 2: Click download. Download the plugin and unzip it. Then upload to FTP into /plugins/ directory• In the admin panel go to Activate the plugin.

• Regardless of the method of installation, activate the plugin by going to Plugins -> Installed plugins

The plugin menu in the WordPress admin panel consists of the following items:• Videos – list of uploaded videos• Galleries – list of existing galleries with ability to control settings • Options – for advanced users – control gallery html/css.• List of galleries – ability to add videos to galleries, control

sort order.

1. Go to Videos - > Galleries2. Click Add New.

1. Fill out the gallery name field2. Select which page or post you want the

gallery to show on3. Enter some basic description text that will

appear above videos4. Do not forget to check the “is live”

checkbox to be sure your gallery will appear on the page/post

5. Stack videos vertically – this controls the orientation of the video list on the page/post. See next slide for details

6. To edit an existing gallery, go to Videos -> Galleries and click the edit icon for the gallery you want to edit.

• Fill out the fields:

– Video title – name of the video as you’d like it to appear next to the video on your page/post

– Gallery – select the gallery you want to attach the video to. Make sure you have at least 1 gallery created before you create any videos

– Video URL – copy and paste URL of your video from Youtube, Vimeo or Wistia. See screenshot. Both http and https will work

– Description – add some text– Show video checkbox -

• There are 2 ways to make a gallery appear on a post or page:1. When creating or editing a gallery, select the page/post

you want the gallery to appear in. This is the simplest method, but you can only show one gallery on a page or post.

2. Use a shortcode: paste the following shortcode into page or post:

[workbox_video_YV_list gallery_name="Test Post Gallery"] where “Test Post Gallery” is the name of the gallery you want to use on the page. To add several galleries to one page or post, add several shortcodes one after another.

• To sort videos inside a gallery, in the Admin Panel go to Videos -> [Gallery name]. Using the up and down links change the sort order in which the videos will appear on the website.

• After Workbox publishes a new version of Workbox Video Plugin, you see a notification in the Admin Panel’s dashboard. Please go to Plugins -> Installed and click update. The auto-update process will download the files and install the new version without losing any of the videos or settings.
