How to Use the Prism Tool for Spectra 1. Create a USB backup file from the Spectra unit Note the filename shown on the screen File name format: Spectra30_1_yyyy-mm-dd_hhmm.nor 2. Insert the USB drive into your computer 3. Start the Spectra Prism program Open the .NOR backup file created in step 1. (from the USB drive) using the File/Open .NOR file menu command 4. Make the changes to the desired settings using the Prism program 5. Save the changes to a .PAT (patch file) on the USB drive using the file/Create .PAT file menu command 6. 8. Note the filename shown on the screen File name format: Spectra30_1_yyyy-mm-dd_hhmm.pat The file is saved to the same directory the NOR file was loaded from Import the .PAT file created in step 6 using the Spectra USB port Copy the .PAT file to the root directory of the flash drive 7. 1. Create a USB backup file from the Spectra unit

2. Insert the USB drive into your computer

3. Start the Spectra Prism program

Open the .NOR backup file created in step 1. (from the USB drive) using the File/Open .NOR file menu command4.

Make the changes to the desired settings using the Prism program 5.
