What is IFTTT?
IFTTT stands forIf This, Then That
It’s an automation tool that connects
two services
If something happens on one
service,
An action takes place on the other
service automatically.
It just need a simple statement called an Applet
An applet involves 2 services
And a lot more.
Services like
First service contains a trigger
And the second contains an action
Confused?

Let’s get started with IFTTT
Let’s start with creating an
account
Open your browser
Type in ifttt.com and press enter
IFTTT main page opens
Click Get Started
Type in Email address
Type in Password
Click Sign up
You’ve just created an account
Let’s start creating applets
We will automate saving of any new Instagram photo
to Dropbox
Click My Applets
Click New Applet
Applet Maker appears
Click this
Scroll down and click Instagram
Or type in to search
Click Instagram
Click Connect
Click Authorize
Click chosen trigger
Click that
Scroll down and Click Dropbox
Or just type in to search
Click Dropbox
Click Connect
Type in Email address
Type in Password
Click Sign in
Click Allow
Click chosen action
Click Create action
Review new applet
Click Finish
Congratulations! You’ve just
created your first Applet
Let’s make another one
How about tweeting your
Facebook status message?
Let’s start creating our
second applet
Click My Applets
Click New Applet
Applet Maker appears
Click this
Click Facebook
Click Connect
Type in Email or Phone number
Type in Password
Click Log in
Click Continue
Click OK or Not Now
Click chosen trigger
Click that
Click Tweeter
Click Connect
Click Authorize app
Click chosen action
Click +ingredient
Click an ingredient if desired
Click Create Action
Review your applet
Scroll down and click Finish
And there you have your Facebook applet

Click Connect
Review IFTTT Terms
Scroll down and click Allow
Click chosen trigger

Click Connect
We need to sign in first
Type in Email Address
Type in Password
Click Sign in
Click dropdown button
Click how long it can access your account
Click Authorize
Click chosen action
Click Create action
Review new applet
Click Finish
And here's the new applet
