So now, let's get started!



Select your browser



I will use..



Open your Firefox browser



Type this on your browser

google.com



And you will see Google homepage



Click the Apps button (squares) in Google homepage



And you'll see this



Click Drive



Then you'll see this



Sign in using your Gmail account



If you don't have an account, clickCreate an account



If you have an account, fill this up



Enter your Email



Enter your Password



Click Sign in



After Signing in, you'll see this



Your list of Activities



Your list of different Documents



Your tools to create different Documents



Now, let's create a

1) Document



Click Create



Click Document



Then you'll be directed to this page



Click the Untitled Document to renamethe title of your document



You'll see this



Type the title of your document



Then click Ok



The new name of your document



Now you can start typing on your document



I added some texts



And every change you make is automatically saved in your Drive



TIP: Move your document to a folderso you can be more organized



To move your document to a folder,click the folder below



Move to your existing folder orCreate new folder



I will move my Document to VA things folder



Then click Move



If you'll click again the folder icon, you'll see this



Indicating that your document was in that folder



Note:

You can check all your documentsby going to Docs home



To go to Docs home,click the blue button



And then you'll see this



Your list of your documents



You can add or create new document by clicking the plus (+) button below



You can add another document - Spreadsheet or Presentation by

clicking the menu



After clicking, you'll see this



Okay! We're done creating a

1) Document



Now, let's create a

2) Presentation



Click Slides



I still have no presentations yet



To create new presentation, click + sign



Then, you'll see this



Choose a theme



In this tutorial, I choose the 1st one



Then click Ok



Then click Untitled presentation to rename the presentation



Type your preferred name below



Then click Ok



The new name of your document



Now, you can start making presentations



The slides you have



To add another slide, click below



Click the dropdown, to select different layout



Then you'll see this,select the layout you want



I'll choose – Title and Body



This is your new slide



This is your new slide(small preview)



And you can add some Transition oreffects if you want



Click Transition



The Animations



You can choose what kind ofAnimations you want



Just click the dropdown



And you'll see this



Choose the animation you want



I will use Fade



Then click Apply to all slides



Then click Play to Play your slides



Then you'll see that your slides

having transitions



Then you can check all your Presentations by clicking Slides home



Your Presentation earlier



Okay! We're done creating a

2) Presentation



Now, let's create a

3) Spreadsheet



To create a Spreadsheet, click the Menu



Click Sheets



Yes! I have so many spreadsheets :D



To create new spreadsheet, click the+ button below



Before editing, let's rename the spreadsheet



Click Untitled spreadsheet



Type your preferred name



Then click Ok



You'll see the new name of yourSpreadsheet



Then if you want to add another Sheet,you can add by clicking the + below



If you want to see your list of Spreadsheet, click Sheets home



Then you'll see again this



See this?



Yes, that's the one you created earlier!



Great! you're done creating a

3) Spreadsheet



Last note:

Others can edit your created1) Document or2) Presentation or3) Spreadsheet



To do that, go to the document you want to share



Let's go back again to the spreadsheet,we make



Click Sample Spreadsheet 1we made



We're here again to Sample Spreadsheet 1



To share this Sample Spreadsheet 1,click Share



The default is – your document is Private – Only you can access



You can change the access by clicking Change



You can share – Publicly



You can share – Publicly - anyone on the internet can find and access. No sign-in required



Then when you click – Public on the web, you'll see options of access



And same Access Option goes to - Anyone with the Link and Specific People



TIP: Choose anyone with the link, so thatonly those who has the link can access your file



And in this tutorial, I will choose can edit



Then click Save



Anyone with the link can edit the file



Just share this link to them



Congrats!
