• 2x16GB microSDHC/TF Memory Card• one microSD Card Reader and SD card reader • 1x SD Card (All new 3DS units come with a 2

GB/4 GB SD card.) • PC with Internet

Software requirement:• 3ds roms: ctr-arre.3ds, ctr-awae.3ds, kirin-

pmxj.3ds, kirin-pmyj.3ds……. • gateway 3ds firmware V2.1 [ Blue Card (R4i),

Step 1

Download the latest gateway 3ds firmware V2.1 from the offical site, or you can just download it from here : gateway 3ds firmware V2.1. Extract the zip file of the V2.1 and you will get the gateway 3ds firmware contents below.

Step 2 GW3DS Blue Flash Kit Set-up

1) Inserct the MicroSD card into the Card Reader. Then insert the adapter into a USB port on your PC and format your MicroSD card.

2) Open the “blue card(R4i)” folder get in step 1 , copy all the files inside to the root of the micro sd card.

3) Eject the MicroSD card reader from your PC and remove the MicroSD card from the card reader. Insert the MicroSD card into the gateway 3ds blue card and then put them into your 3ds console.

4) Power on and click the “Deep Labyrinth ” icon to log in. Click the “micro sd card”.

5) Click the “gateway installer” and then click “A” to start.

6) Click the console region you want to choose( usually the first one EUR/USA/JAP/KOR ),then it will start processing.Wait until the process finish.

7) After the install, click the Home button to go back to the home menu and keep the power on.

Step 3 3DS SD Card Set-up: 1) Inserct the sd card reader into the sd card, and put them into a USB port on your PC. Then Format the sd card first.

2) Find out the “GW_OMEGA_2.1_RELEASE” folder you have downloaded in step 1. Open it and copy the “Launcher.dat file” into the root of the sd card.

3) Eject the MicroSD card reader from your PC and put the sd card back into the 3ds slot.

4) Then click the “wrench icon” to enter into the system setting.Click “other settings”,”Profile”,”Nintendo DS profile”, then the console will go the gateway menu.

Step 4

GW3DS Red Labeled Flash Kit Set-Up:

1) Formate the other micro sd card and put 3ds games into it . Here i put four games on the sd card, including the pokemon X and pokemon Y 3ds games .

2) Insert the Microsd card with gateway 3ds red card into the 3ds console.

3) Highlight the blank icon, then you will see the picture below, just press “SELECT” button and

you will see the four game icons show up in the screen.(Note: If you have not updated your gateway 3ds flashcart, you will get the message to update this card in this step, then you can update the card with the hints)

4) Use “L/R” button to choose the Pokemon X and press A ,then you can enjoy the games.
