Almost all the eBooks you’ve bought from Amazon for Kindle are in .azw format which is notsupported by iPad at all. If you need to read .azw eBooks on iPad, you should install Kindle app for iPad.Only in this way, these books will be readable on iPad. To transfer these .azw Kindle eBooks to iPad, allyou need is log in Amazon account on Kindle for iPad and download these eBooks you’ve bought fromAmazon in your archives.

Part two How to transfer .mobi eBooks from Kindle to iPad

.mobi is another eBook format that Kindle supports. But by default, it is not compatible with iPad, iPad 2and the new iPad. To transfer .mobi Kindle books to iPad, first, you should remove them from Kindle.Connect the Kindle with your computer with the USB cable. Double-click to open My Computer you willfind an external drive, say Kindle drive. Open it and find the folder named as “Document” in the directory.From here, copy .mobi Kindle books and save them on your computer. From here you have two choices:

1. Transfer .mobi to Stanza for iPad to read. Of course, you have to download Stanza for iPad andStanza for your computer beforehand. First, transfer these .mobi eBooks to “file sharing” section inStanza for desktop and then go to “Get eBooks”>”Computer Sharing Books” on Stanza for iPad tosync .mobi to iPad.

Part three How to transfer .pdf eBooks from Kindle to iPad

To transfer PDF eBooks from Kindle to iPad, you have to save these PDF to your computer first. ConnectKindle with your computer. Find and open the external hard drive in My Computer. In the Document folder,copy these PDF eBooks to your computer. Now you can drag and drop these PDF eBooks to iTunes and

sync them to iPad.

Tips:

PDF is compatible with iPad. However, it is not as friendly as EPUB for iPad. To enhance the readingexperience, you’d better convert PDF to EPUB for iPad.
