Turning off 4G service in these areas will extend the device’s battery life. 1. From the Home screen, slide your finger from the top of the screen downward to open the notification window. 2. The Quick Setting menu will appear. To turn off 4G, touch the 4G icon. 3. 4G is now off. To turn 4G on, touch the 4G icon. To close the notificaton window slide your finger from the bottom of the screen up. 1. From the Home screen, touch Settings > Wireless & networks > Mobile networks. 2. Touch System Selection. 3. Select between LTE/CDMA and CDMA mode. LTE/ CMDA will always attempt to connect to 4G Service when available and will use 3G Service when 4G Service is not available. CDMA mode will not allow the device to look for 4G Service.

Toggling between 4G and 3G using the Settings Menu

In some areas, 4G Service and the LTE Network may not be available. Turning off 4G service in these areas will extend the device’s battery life.

1. From the Home screen, slide your finger from the top of the screen downward to open the notification window.

2. The Quick Setting menu will appear. To turn off 4G, touch the 4G icon.

3. 4G is now off. To turn 4G on, touch the 4G icon. To close the notificaton window slide your finger from the bottom of the screen up.
