PREFACE

TIME is the essence and "Timing of events" in OUf fast li ves. is the task with which an astrologer of the day is cur­rently confronted. This book, which has been finali sed after empi rica l studies, is primarily for meeting this demand througb an integrated & systematically consolidated approach [or ana­lytica ll y studying the Divisonal Charts. At the same time, the book throws light on application of principles relating to the study of Vargas (Divisions), debilitated planets occupying their signs of debilitation, timing of marriage, etc., and illustrated Divisional Charts regarding profession, progeny, parentage, heal th, marriage, etc.

We find ourselves encountered with the large num­ber o f Inconsistencies and confus ions prevailing in the class ical predictive tools which I believe a re the res ults of Interpolations and o m isSions while record ing the principles as e nunciated by the propounding fathers. The clues iden­tified by the author on the functional nature of planets for particll1u ascendant. and application of transit with reference to the natalucendant have solved most of the confusions. The ·Systems· Approach for Interpreting the Horoscopes~ suggested by me in my book having the same title does not leave a s ingle case be ing reported in vario us astrological journals unexplained with this single approac h . The ,wdelines of identifying the functional nature of planets on the ba.is of the mooltrlkona signs of the planet. render the following prevalent, said to be classi­cal principles to futality:-

A number of confusions and contradictions have been discussed by me in my above referred book. CHAPTER 1

WHY STUDY DMSIONAL CHARTS?

WHAT IS A DMS[ONAL CHART?

First of all let us understand what a divisional chart or a varga chart is ? Divisional chart Is erected by dlvidlng a sign into parts. For example. if we want to prepare a divisional chart for one ninth part of a sign (Rasl), we wUI divide the 300 1.e. extent of a sign in nine equal parts of 30:20'each. Then we have a standard methodology of reckon­ing the signs ornatal planets (planetary position as noted at the time ofblrth) as well as the rising degree ofthe ascendant in the divisional chart for ninth part which Is known as the navamsa chart. We will not go into the details of preparing the divisional charts here. You can make the divisional charts with the help of the tables 12 to 24 given at the end of the book. We will see the natal sign and degree oCa planet and see its corresponding position in the divisional chart. For example. if an ascendant is rising in Virgo 23°, its position in decante would be Taurus; in Turyamsa it would be Gemini; in Panchamsa it would be Leo; in Sapthamsa it would be Leo; and so on and so forth. The natal sign Is to be read in columns and natal degrees are to be read in the rows. The corresponding number reckoned with the help of the column position and row position represents the sign num­ber in the concerned divisional chart.

IMPORTANT DIVISIONAL CHARTS

Forclusterwise detailed analysis, the divisional charts have to be studied. These are studied for two purposes. Firstly to see the strength of a planet by observing its placement in various divisions. Iflt is placed in its own sign.

friendly sign or its exaltation sign in most afthe divisions. It is treated to be strong. Its placement in most of the dlvislons in its sign of debilitation renders it weak. A planet which is

weak in the natal chart does not improve Its position by occupying benefic. friendly. exaitton or own Sign. However. thOH planet. which are weak but functionally favourable tor. penon can be strengthened by wearing of. atone or • yantra in. duly ~Iected. time. In this OOok. we will treat planets Rahu. Ketu and those whose mooltrtkona signs fall in the houses sixth. eighth and twelfth from the natal ascendant as functionally unfavourable for the owner of the chart.

Secondly the divisional charts are studied for identi­fying the results of a particular sector of Ufe by studying the corresponding divisional chart along with the concerned house in the natal (birth) chart. Like lfwe want to study the general fortune, we wtll study the ninth house and the divisional chart known as navamsa (D·[x) along with the natal (birth) chart of the person.

A planet, which occupies the same sign in rasi and navamsa charts. is called Vargonama. C lassics attribute good result to planets in the state of Vargottama amsa. But these good resu lts are experienced by the native jfthe planet is strong and well placed in the rasi chart. In case the planet is in its sign of debilitation, combust or weak on any other account, the planet fail s to bestow the good results in its main or sub periods. A planet in its own decante bestows good resuhs relating 10 its s ignifications in a chart while the one in its own navamsa makes one lucky. A planet in its own sapthamsa conters name, fame, wealth and happiness in life through progeny .

The planetary- relationships in a horoscope are generated through close conjunctions, c lose aspects and placements. When two or more functional benefic planet s from c lose relationship they generate good results relatinlZ to the houses where the mooltrikona

• signs of these planets are placed. This type of relationship caused due to the close conjunction/aspect is known as yoga. If two functional malefics or one functional benefic and one functional malefic planet ronn a close relationship they cause an inauspicious yoga and destroy the results af the house(s) ruled by the functional malefic benefic planet. When a functional benefic planet occupies a malefic house, this causes a yoga for misfOitune related to the significations of the house containing the mooltrikona sign of the said planet. Similarly. when a functional malefic planet closely influences the most effective point of a benefic house, it destroys the significations of the said house .

The readers may refer to the advance predictive techniques of the Systems' Approach in the book, Predictive Techniques and application of the Astrologica l Remedial Measures. The advance predictive/analytical techniques will make the analysis of the charts and comprehension of the horoscope very easy. The practice and study of the case studies will not onl y sharpen the skills but will bestow predictive accuracy.

RASI CHARTS AT TIMES CAN BE MISLEADING

Those houses are considered strong which are occu­pied I aspected by their own lords and functionally favourable planets. whose lords are strong by way of exaltation and placement in angles or trines.

As per Sarvartha Chintamant. a classic, If a natural benefic planet is lord of any house and Is located in that house or aspectS It and the houses aspected or associated are not under the influence of malefic planets by association or aspect. the house concerned gets boosted in regard to the traits related to it.

Still at times, we come across charts where inspt!e of certain houses being strong in main charts, the nat1v~ do n ot get the desired results. How can we identifY such combinations and offer correct predictio ns? The answer lies in analysing the concerned house of a main chart in associa­tion with study of the corresponding divisional chart as lndicated earlier under the sub-heading slgn1ftcations of the important divisional charts. In fact any prediction wtthout its being subJected to testln the relevantdMsion. stands less chances ofits becoming true. The study ofvartous houses. in fact. gives the clues to trends in Ufe whereas the exact happenings are delineated with the help of the strength of the operating sub-period lord in transit in particular and the various exact wnJWlCtlons or exact aspects fonned by the transit planets in rela tion to the natal (birth) positIons .

In Rasl chart when we consIder parentage. it is the fourth house and slgnificator for mother which are more afflJcted in comparison to the ninth house. lord of the ninth house and the slgnlficator for father. the Sun.

scene morc clear. In navamsa Jupiter. the lord of the ninth houseof the Rasi chart Is in its sign of debilitation while in dwadasamsa it is aspected by Rahu. The significator for father. the Sun. occupies its sign of debilitation tn dwadasamsa while it Is associated with Ke tu in the navamsa. Ketu also aspects both the ascendants of the navamsa and dwadasamsa. Ketu is known as the planet of miseries. In the Rasl chart, Rahu is closely conjunct with the mid-point of the fourth house. The planets o:cupytng the sign Virgo, Scorpio and Pisces, which are lnauspicious stgns of the natural zodiac. also become somewhat weak. Venus in this chart is in Scorpio and Jupiter Is in Pisces. Jupiter. the Sun. Venus and the Moon become sJgntficators for the father while Rahu and Ketu are the afllictors. The Moon, the slgnificator for the mother, occupies angular houses in main chart and navaIn8a and Its own sign in thedwadasamsa. The Moon'sassociaUon with Ketu 1n the Ras1 chart is quite wide, The Moon has paksha bala as weU. During the main period of Venus lord of the fourth house. lndlcating suffering to the mother due to Rahu's close association,sub·period of Rahu and sub-sub­period of Ketu. the native )cst his father at the age of deven years.

In 0-1, the seventh house is occupied by its own lord tn its sign of exaltation. The lord of the eighth house the house of marital bond, is occupied by its own lord, Venus. The lord of the house of the family occupies angular position from the lagna(ascendant).Inspite of all these positive com­binations the marital-bond could not survive. The seventh house has close aspect ofKetu and the twelfth lord has close conjunction with Ketu. The manglayasthan and its lord does not have any malefic aspects on them.

In D-lX, the lagna is occupied by the debilitated Sun, who is secondary significator for the husband as well. The significator for the husband. Jupiter, occupies its sign of debilitation. Mercury the lord of the seventh house of the main chart occupies its own sign in the D-lX. The ascendant lord of the D-lX, Venus, is afflicted due to its occupying the house of debilitated Jupiter. Saturn ruling bed comforts in D-I is closely conjunct with Ketu and occupies its debUitated navamsa. Fourth house of the D-lX is highly afflicted by the presence of debilitated Jupiter as also aspect of Ketu.

The· girl who was married in June, 1985, faced numerous problems in her marital life which ultimately ended in a divorce. From June, 1987, onwards the main period of the ninth and second lord, Mars, was tn progress. The brief spell of sub-period of Mars in its own period could not reverse the trouble started by the sub-period of Venus and the Sun in the main period of the Moon. The strong seventh lord could not withstand the affiiction caused by Ketu. Saturn's sub-period in the main period of Mars saw end of the alliance.

Mars, its mooltrikona sign being in sixth house casts its functional malefic aspect closely on the ascendant. Venus. therullngsub·perlod lord, rules inauspicious houses in both the Rasi chart and the decante chart and is in its stgn of debilitation.

Venus. the natural physical and mental growth of native was obstructed. The native is a mangoUan child. having retarded growth. suffer­lng from dreaded diseases like pneumonia. congenital de­fects like hole in heart and enlarged heart, etc .. and suffers from frequent fevers.

CHART.

The native suffered on account of death of her hus­band within three years of her marriage and thereafter was Involved in the liUgation for the property of her husband. Her husband died in the sub-period of the fourth lord, Mercury. occupytng the siXth house.

In 0-1, Jupiter casts his close aspect on the seventh house. The ninth lord occupies its own house. i.e. the house of for1\U1e. The signlflcator for sex. Venus occupies its own sign in the fifth house. The seventh house is the house of spouse. The posltion appears to be quite promistrig except the close aflUction ofRahu to the twelfth house i.e. the house of bed comforts. But the unfortunate happening took place in the ma1n period of seventh lord and sub-period of the ninth lord.

In D-IX the ascendant lord Is Mercury. which Is weak in the natal chart. Both ninth and seventh lords of 0-1 join the debilitated Moon in the stgn Scorpto and sixth house from the ascendant of the navamsa. Rahu and Ketu occupy the angular positions in navamsa. Mercury as lord offourth ofD-I Is relegated to the sixth house. indicates the involve­ment of assets in life and domestic happiness in disputes.

As the main period of Jupiter. who is lord of the ascendant in the dasamsa, is in operation, the native had to work after the death of the husband.

Thus the study of divisional charts becomes neces­sary for clearly delineating the results of the various sectors of life.

SPECIAL DEMANDS ON ASTROLOGERS FOR nMING OF£VENTS

Hundred percent benefits of predlcttve astrology can be enjoyed only if the events are properly timed. Life these days is vel)' fast. Every body wants to know what is going to happen and when because in the fast life nobody has the time and patlence. Moreover, the dis believers in this science and the people who are shaky turn believers if the predictions made. duly timed. become true.

Numerous dk:ta are avaUable In astrological classical texts on predictive astrology. Most of the texts indicate as to what will be the effect of a partlc1llar planet in a particular sign.. Yet it is absolutely impossible for inclusion orall such incidents due to which the effects are going to change on accOlmt of aspects of other planets. their iXlsltton and strengths. That Is why many oftndications do not stand the testoftlme. I would like to state. humbly. that the predictive astrology is a matter of comprehension of the system in place of memorising combinations given in the books as the combinations are subject to venous measures of strength of the planets as also the aspects .

Apart from the ftUldamental analysis of the main chart the following considerations play important role in t1rn1ngthe events. the examinatlon ofdMslonal charts being the most Important:

As lndicated earlier-. 1t Is the exact conJunctionl aspect fanned by the transit planetary configuration with reference to the natal planetary configuration which gener­ates various types of results. In other words the conjunc­tions or aspects fonned by the current movement of planets on the planetary posltlon noted for the birth-time as also wtth reference to the middle polnt of the various houses

would Indicate failure/success depending upon their func­tional nature. In this book the rising degree In the ~cendant will be treated as the middle pOint of every houae and the extent of all bouse •• baa been treated as 300. Apart from the general effect of various conju nctlons or aspects, It Is the strength of the natal operating sub-period lord tn transit that bestows the results. rn case the natal operating sub-period lord Is functionally favourable but weak and Its transit position Is In strength. It can bestow the desired results to a large extent. The strength of weak natal favourable planet can be augmented with the help of stones or yantras. On the other hand If the strong natal operating sub-pertod lord Is weak In Its transit strength It fails to bestow or augment the desired results. This Is the basis of analysis with which an astrologer can lay with certainty about the frucuncaUon of. trend Into reality.

2. DIVISIONAL CHARTS

As noted above and as would be the experience of the learned astrologers the demands on the astrology today are about predictions In a particular sector of life and at a particular time; so to say marriage In so and so year. etc. For all these. it is very necessary that the divis ional chart relevant to a particular sector of liCe is studied and then the prediCtions are offered. The analysiS of divisional charts is to be undertaken as per Integrated Approach mentioned In Chapter 2 .

The accuracy of birth lime becomes the sole basis of analyzIng a divisional chart.

a.CAUTION:

Debilitated planets even If their debilitation Is can­celled, and the combust planets cannot be relied upon for Indicating success for particular fields for which they be­come slgnificators In a particular divisional chart If they

become lord of ascendant or are debilitated/combust as slgnlficator for the relevant significations. For example,la deblUtated J u p Iter becoming 10 rd of ascendant of Sapthamsa ID-VII) or he Is In his sign of debilitation or Is combust In the main chart. Rathel", we can safely predict fallure. To aug­ment such. weak planet if he i. a functional benefic for the nativity we have to suggest ttrengtbenlng measure. for the planet concerned and propitiatory measures for those functionally malefic planets and/or Rahu and Ketu, if they are caUSing afOtction to the weak planet or to the ascendant.

It will be the experience of learned fI1ends that sometimes Ins plte of the slgnlOcators being weak. a person Is blessed with concerned Significations. For example If Jupiter as lord of fifth house of the maln chart or as lord of Sapthamsa Is weak, a native may be blessed with a male child. In fact the birth ofa male child may be dUring the sub­period of the Sun or a s trong lord of ascendant and when the sub-period of a weak Jupiter comes the native may be robbed-off of the bleSSings of the other planets or he suffers on account of permanent or temporary III-health of his children.

The strong posluon of the lord of ascendant of the dtvtslonal chart and/or slgnlficator In the concerned divi­sional chart with operation of fayourabie sub-penods and helpful trans its bless the native with success provided such Indicators are not weak In the main chart.

4. REMEDIAL MEASURES

Propitiatory remedial measures should be recom­mended for the planets who might be causing affilctlon to the lagna lord ofthe divisional chart or the planet. whose period Is in operation.

To illustrate, I would cite a few examples for timing the events with the help of the foregOing.

ANALYSING COMBUST PLANETS

The combust planets lack all power to protect/ promote the significations and the houses ruled by them. Although there Is very condensed mention oftbis subject in AstrolOgical Texts and commentaries of classical writers like S/5hrl Varaluniltlra, Kalyan Vanna and Venktesh Shanna. the same carries a very deep meaning and has to be viewed in the form of a very useful hint.

Whenever, In a nativity a planet is combust, the native suffers with regard to the significations and the houses ruled by such planets in such a manner that the suffering becomes memorable, so to say it Is like a tragedy, during the operat1onal periods of~uch planets. In case the houses, whose lords are combust, are occupied by func­tional maleflcs, Rahu and Ketu the significations are totally destroyed. In case the major dasa of such a planet do not operate then the fruits of the significations supposed to be provided by the combust planet are not enjoyed by the native and in case the major dasa operates and whenever the malefics transit the signs ruled by the combust planets tragic happenings occur In the relevant fields. Sometimes. the combust planets do bless temporarily the stgnificatlons ruled by them to cause sufferings on a later date by snatching it away.

The only saving factor Is the aspect/ association of the powerful functional benefics. In case, In addition to some other planets. Jupiter. being a functional benefic is also combust then there Is hardly any saving factor. However, if the depositors of the combust planets are powerfully placed, benefiCially aspected and are functional benefics, the effects oLcombust planets may be a little less.

Sarvaratha Chlntamanl states that durtng the dasa ora combust planet. the native commits many sins. suffers loss ofintel.ligence. fame. wife, wealth and lands. Further. he earm wealth by unfalr means .

Saravali states: -(l) that the native will be deprtved of his place or position. dirty-hearted . poor and will wander here and there;

(il) That a combust planet not only loses tts capacity to do good. but also bestows malefic results in full; and

(ill) guides us to the prtnclple that the house whJch gives place to a combust planet and is devoid of a henetlc's aspect. puts the native to ,suffering from the s1gn!1lcatlons indicated by it e .g. in case of such a house being ninth it w1l1 make the native devoid of moral strength. wealth. and fame

During the experience of the author, whenever the seventh lord Is combust and the lord of the navamsa asdt. or the lord of the sign occupied by the Moon In navamsa Is combust. the mamage oftbe native whether a boy or a gld: whether rtch or poor: beautiful or otherwise: Is Invariably delayed. Thus, denying the martial bliss In the peak years of life, delaying the fruits ofthe marttallife Le. delayed progeny and In case the period of such a planet operates, It results in the manta! discord. Apart from afflictions in the navamsa chart. the combustion of Venus did not bless the native with marital happiness. Her two marrtages ended lndlvorce. The ftrst survived for a few months and the second for a few days. The native could not compromise with the immoral character of the spouse. Both the divorces took place in the main pertod of Venus and the sub-period of Jupiter.

The tenth lord, the Sun. occupies its own sign in the mainchart. The tenth house does not have any aspect except wide aspect of Rahu. In dasamsa no mooltrtkona sign rises in the ascendant. Therefore. the main stress is on the lord of the tenth house of the main chart. the Sun. who occupies the ninth house in the dasamsa chart. The lord of the ascendant of dasamsa, Jupiter. though exalted in the main chart. occupies the eighth house. The job held by the native is affiuent so far as the financial income is concerned but does not possess the authority as signified by the slgn Leo and its lord in the tenth house.

Now the question is how can we minimiae the etJect. of combat planet. on the human lives. It baa two main zones; (l) the physical ailment. and (2) other signification. of the planets. For signification. we can take preventive me's\Ue8 e.g. for penon. WhOH Mercury is combWlt they can avoid speculation. gambHna etc. The planets which are combu.t but not functional malefic. can be made strong by use of geuw/stonea/yantr_ and colour therapies. The planet. which are combust and at the same time are functional malefic. alao they have to be propitiated. by charities. The last ofaU is paychologica1 understanding to cope with the weak ares- instead of straining to remove the we·knes. and then suffer mental disturbance.

SPECIAL REFERENCE TO THE MAIN PERIOD OFKETU

We often come across persons who have to see 'requent changes in their lives. encounter misfortunes and 'arely get settled in their lives. I had taken up research lllalysis for finding Qut the common astrological factors in his regard. After examining a number of horoscopes having ;uch past history, I have come to the conclusion that mostly ~hildren born in the ending parts of constellation of Mercury , Tenus and Ketu fall under this category. The main reason is hat in all such cases the children have to undergo dasa of I number of planets having different temperament e.g. r1ercury-Ketu-Venus-Sun-Moon-Mars-Rahu etc. The only :mgspell ofdasa is that ofVenus and in case Venus is strong he child gets some base for settlement in life. Apart from the 'peration of dasa the factors responsible for giving a gocd tart in life for accomplishments are strong lagna. the Sun, he Moon. the fourth and the ninth houses, On the other land if Venus is also weak alongwith the weak ninth house. he whole life of the native remains troublesome, The best harts are those where functional malefics, Rahu and Ketu a not fonn exact conjunction or aspects with functional enefic planets and the middle part of the various houses.

The vital role in creating the troubles is played by the asa of Ketu which gives a start to the series.

Shri Vanket Sharma the author of "Sarvaratha hintamani" attributes the results to dasa ofKetu as under:

"The native loses his wife and son; suffers on account r misunderstanding with the king; suffers loss of education, ~latives, wealth and friends; dangers from dis

ease, fire and frie nds; fall from a conveyance; dangers from polson. weapons, going to distant places. likes to pick-up quarrels and trouble in the body. When Ketu occupies an angle, actions do not give results. one loses rullng powers, son. wife and encounters other dangers. Durlng its dasa Ketu gives dangers . fevers, lcx>se motions. loss of semen. bolls and cholera. iflt occupies the lagna. Heattrtbuted good results to Ketu only when it is under the aspect of benefic planets~ .

Sant Tulsldas wrote in Ramcharitmanasa that the dasa ofKetu is always troublesome. In fact whUe writing in the context of conduct ofevU perso ns, he stated that birth of evil persons is always for harming the lives of others as is the rise of planet Ketu meaning thereby that the dasa of Ketu is always troublesome.

In experlence. we notice that whenever Ketu is under benefic lntluence. it gives spiritual advancement and not the material advancement. As we are exam1n1ng the results of Ketu dass in the childhood. we can safely infer that the Ketu·s dasa In childhood produces only malefic results as it never allows the material advancement, destroys the sources ofmatertal advancement of the child e.g. his parents.

The best way to propltiate Ketu in its dasa is to feed dogs. ProplUatlon of Ketu becomes necessary in view of the fact that Ketu destroys the slgnlfkattons of the house occupied by him, of the planet, with whom It 15 closely associated. and the houses aspected by It.

If the Sunand the ntnthhouse areafllicted. the native loses his father or it causes severe troubles to the father affecting thereby the comfortable growth of the native. If the Moon and the fourth house are weak byway of afflictlons, the native is deWed the care of parents especially that of the mother. The affiictlon by way of combustlon/ c¥bllltatlon or infancy I oldage of planets and at the same time beingaspected by ma1efics is worst.

In contrast with It where a native completes major period of Rahu by the age of 12 to 14 years of age and has a well placed Jupiter enjoys the fruIts of life In time and gets settled. Uother planets are also suitably placed then it giVes an extra·ordinary lift to the native.

Rather. he had four male chUdren. two of which expired shortly after birth . one was a still birth and one premature dead delivery. In Sapthamsa Taurus ascendant rises which is ruled by a female planet. The ascendant o f the Sapthamsa is occupied by the Moon. whic h blessed the native with sUIViving female c hildren.

Their history can be traced to times. Immemorial. Prasana Marga links the miseJ1es/ evils in one's life to the sins/bad deeds committed in the past/present life.

In Ramcharitamanasa. Sant Tulsldas says that the evils cannot be fully mitigated by donations. recitation of mantras, yagnas, etc. which clearly indIcates that before his time there used to be remed1al measures in practice. In his great work. he gtves us clue on how to avoid evils. 'Attach­ment' Ls the cause of all sufferings . One cannot enjoy happiness so kmg as he does not attain contentment. In Kallyuga. he mentions, mere devotion to Goo. helps in mitigating evils. He goes further and says that evUs can only be destroyed bytbe grace of God. In Astrology we Wlderstand the phenomenon of~God's grace' by the aspect/assoctation of Jupite r when functional benefic with Iagna, the Moon or the ninth house.

As per Varahmihira, the evils can be removed. by worship of lea rned. palllavatives offered to planets . reclta· tion of Mantras. dana . company of saintly persons . etc. Valmlkl rush! in his Ramayana al90 mentions a number of remedlal measures.

preme. The indications of astrology can be of use only lfthe unfavourable influences can be averted by remedial mea­sures and the favourable influences are enhanced. The success of remedial measures depend lfthese are performed faithfully as per the advice in a regular marmer. Then there are certain lmportant comblnatlons in the horoscope which indicate whether the remedial measures w1ll help.

If the lagna or Its lord. the Moon or trines are influenced by functional bencftcs. the remedial measures work. So many times, we have the experlence ofheartng from different persons that so and so does not have faith in these things and W1ll not perform the remedial measures as advised.. I assure that the cancel ned persons wUl perform the remedial measures on the basis of the strength o f their respectlve charts.

I have tried and carried out research unacr the guidance ofShri S.S. Gala, on such remedial measures which should be simple. The weak planets. which are to act as beneflcs for the native, can be strengthened by therapIes like; Gems, Stones, Colour. yantras. etc. However, for the planets caustngamtc­tions, propitiatory measures are necessary.

These simple astrological propitiatory remedial m easures can be started immediately in a good muhurata as against other traditional methods . These are cheap. However. if the patient gets a rotl made with sugar stuffed in it and offers to crows everyday morning in pieces. it works and relieves the patient wonderfully. In fact . many staunch critics of astrology have become bellevers in this divine science only because of this. The persons consulttngastrologers. many a times, are referred to by doctors. The JOedical practloners can also take the help of astrology to diagnose various diseases astrologically In addition to medical examination and guide their patients where even the trusted medicines are not showlng the desired results. For example during the mainl sub-pericxi of Rahu the medical treatment does not help

Still further, for the Jaundice. which Is caused by weakness/ aillictlon of Jupiter, the physicians prescribe intake of such articles of food. by the patients which are related to the planet. Jupiter . It clearly lndicates that though there are certain missing links, yet the utility of remedial measures cannot be ignored for lack of logic. At the same time the Moon can be strengthened by wearing a pearl or a silver crescent, etc.

Success in any field depends upon the leadership qualities. The various traits ofa dynamic personality are governed by various planets. For example, for organising, acquiring and cultivating a diligent team one requires a strong Sun in one' s horoscope.
