SOLVE YOURHOW TO

STUDY PROBLEMS

UNIVERSITY

Many students are not able to perform well at university. They struggle and many of them fail

and drop out.

If you are one of them or not but feel that you need to improve

your academic performance you can follow some helpful tips.

Based on selected pieces of research performed by university instructors on

their students, here are some tips to help you survive and succeed in higher

education.

IDENTIFY AND ADDRESSYOUR PROBLEMS

Identify your problems and their causes, and address them.

For example, you are not getting high scores because you were not able to study well or sufficiently. The cause could be that you were not able to focus while studying because you were bothered by problems in your finances or your family.

Accept such problems and do your best to set them aside to focus on your studies. Further, here are some ways to help you to do so.

STRIVE AND THRIVE.

Be industrious and make do with what you have.

Stop thinking about what you do not have. And start functioning well with what you have. Stop being bothered by your surroundings. Instead, work with it or address it. If you are bothered by the situation or environment of the place you are staying in, look for a place where you can study well.

More importantly, clear your mind so that you can focus on what you are studying.

FOCUS ON THE GOAL.

Work focusing on the long-term goal.To help you be industrious, make do with what you have and not be bothered by the problems and difficulties of the present, you should do all you need to do with focus on the long-term goal.

Get going despite the circumstances. In one survey, 12% of students reported financial problems bothered their mind and some 10% indicated domestic problems. Bear in mind that you are on a journey towards a destination. The present is the journey and the future is your destination.

ACHIEVE SHORTERTERM GOALS.

Set immediate and shorter term goals and achieve them.

One day at a time, achieve something or a fraction of the whole goal. Study a whole

module one chapter at a time.

DOYOURJOB

Always remember that being a student is a job.

Treat your studies as your job. In fact, being a student is a job. It is your occupation in life. It is your role. It is your function.Function well. The word “student” comes from the word “study.” You are a student and your job is to study. If you do not study, you lose your life's meaning.

That is why if you do not study, you fail in your education. And if you fail in your education, you fail in your life and you become unhappy. Thus, study to be happy.

LOVESTUDYING

To be successful, you should love your work; love studying.

The first time you follow this was when you chose your course. It should be that you chose what you love. In other words, do what you love. Now, whatever the circumstances may be, you should love what you chose. You should love what you are doing. You can also give yourself some rewards, rest and recreation.

BEINSPIRED

To help you do your job of studying and love it, you can derive inspiration from employees, workers, performers, artists, athletes, etc.

Notice that these people say that they have a job to do (must do), they do it and do it well.

➔ Employees do their tasks to achieve the company's goals.

➔ Construction workers help complete a building.

➔ Singers practice their tunes over and over.

➔ Combat sports fighters endure through training and the match itself because it is their job.

➔ Professional basketball players practice and train to win.

UNDERSTAND, WORK AND UNDERSTAND

Continually improve your study skills to continually improve your academic performance.

One research found that 37% of students were not able to progress to the next year of their course because of academic difficulties. They are not

able to perform well in their subjects because they were not able to develop or improve their study skills as necessary. Thus, you should continually progress. One best way is to really understand what you are studying.

Understand what you are studying so that you can work accordingly. Additionally, you can also work and understand. The latter is called for by

time management. When you no longer have enough time to continue trying to understand what you are studying, you can proceed to working.

can go back to fully understanding those concepts later or along the way.

In other words, proceed to working on exercises even with just the initial understanding that you developed. This way, you can achieve something. You

OTHERS

Strive and thrive at university with others. In addition to your own personal study time, you should also study with others. You can do it everyday if possible or if necessary. Study together, share goals among one another and help each other achieve them.

A survey found that 29% of students did not do well because of personal difficulties, 8%

reported inability to fit in and another 8% indicated psychological and emotional problems. Having a group who can help you can address these. In addition to your own personal play time, you should also have play time with others.
