How to Request Items Using Rewrite

Before you start Some things to prepare and know before using Rewrite:

Charles Web Proxy must be loaded on your computer

Charles plugin is installed in Firefox and you are using Firefox as your browser.

When you load Facebook, it automatically loads in secure mode and the URL is https://www.facebook.com/. After you log in, reload Facebook in unsecure mode, ie, change the URL to http://www.facebook.com.

Use the URL apps.facebook.com/playcastleville/index.php?ref=flashRedirectHome when you load Castleville

Download the Imperial.xml file to your desktop (available from Botters and Wizards here: https://www.facebook.com/groups/456069631127762/558415187559872/

How to use Rewrite

1. Load Charles Web Proxy.

2. Load Castleville without secure settings. The URL is

apps.facebook.com/playcastleville/index.php?ref=flashRedirectHome

3. In Charles:

Make sure the Recording button is switched on and Breakpoint is off.

Click on Tools in the menu bar and then click Rewrite. The Rewrite Settings box is displayed.

Click Enable Rewrite (if not already enabled)

Click the Import button and navigate to where you downloaded the Imperial.xml file. If you

did not already download this file, it is available here:

Note: You only need to import the Imperial.xml file the first time you use Rewrite.

Click OK.

Settings There are four Sets and each of these sets contains rules that can be adjusted for your own

particular needs. The sets are:

Item Code

Item Count

Receiver ID

Sender ID

Receiver ID

This is the UID of the account that you are logged into the game with.

1. In Charles:

Click Receiver ID to select the settings.

Double-click on the rule to open the Rule.

Edit the value to replace %22toZid%22 with %22(your dummy Zynga Userid)%22

Click OK.

Note: Be careful not to leave any spaces

Note: Every request you receive will be from this Zynga Userid until changed.

Sender ID

This is the UID of the account person/account you are sending gifts TO.

1. In Charles:

Click Sender ID

Double-click the rule

Edit the value to replace %22senderId%22 with %22(your/neighbor Zynga Userid)%22

Click OK.

Note: Be careful not to leave any spaces in the Value field

Note: Every request you send will be to this Zynga Userid until changed.

Item Code

This section contains the settings for the item you will match and replace. For example, if you click

on the Valentine Shop in your game and request pink lace and you really want celestial blessings,

you will match PinkLaceMaterial_01 and replace it with CelestialBlessingCraftable_01.

1. In Charles:

Click Item Code

Double-click the rule

In the Match section, edit the value with the item being replaced. This example uses PinkLaceMaterial_01.

In the Replace section, edit the value with the item being replaced. This example uses CelestialBlessingCraftable_01

Click OK.

Note : This setting contains wood planks as the default code. You can use any item you want.

Item Count

You can change the default setting where you request a single item (one item) to up to 25.

1. In Charles:

Click Item Count

Double-click the rule to open it

Change the number that comes after the letter A – it can be any number between 1 and

25.

Click OK

Note: Be careful not to leave any spaces in the Value field

Additional rules You can add additional rules (settings) for any of the four sets: Item Code, Item Count, Receiver ID or

Sender ID.

The following example shows how to add a new Item Code rule.

1. In Charles:

Click Tools and Rewrite from the menu bar.

Click Item Code to select it.

Click the Add button to add a new rule. A blank rule screen is displayed.

Use the drop-down to select Type = Body

Make sure both checkboxes in the Where section are ticked

Enter the code for the item you will replace in the Match value field

Enter the code for item you want in the Replace value field

Click OK. You will now see the second rule is added.

Click the Up button to move the rule you want to move to the top.

Send the request 1. In Castleville:

Click on the Valentine Shop (or building you set up for) and send your request.

Wait a few moments and click your Inbox to Accept and Send your items
