Introduction (Description)

A stroke occurs from the death of the brain cells when the brain stops receiving blood flow. A stroke is a common disease in Australia, the main three types of stokes are; Ischemic Stroke (caused by blood clots), Haemorrhagic stroke (caused by ruptured blood vessels that cause brain bleeding) and a mini stroke caused by temporary blood clot). All of these three different types of strokes are equally bad.

Strokes can be caused by a blocked artery or the leaking or bursting of blood vessel. Many people experience a temporary disruption of blood flow to their brain.
