+ Let’s DECLARE Together!Lift up your Bible and Let’s declare together!

This is my manual, it reveals who I am, and what I am capable of doing!

This is the constitution of the Kingdom I belong to!

This is a living document, capable of transforming my life. The words are spirit and life.

When I read God’s words, I cannot stay the same.

As I read today, I discover hidden Secrets

God’s word is a hammer – it breaks my resistance, A double edged sword – it judges my thoughts and attitude, A fire – consuming what is not right, A lamp and light – showing me the way, A seed –growing in me to bring forth harvest, Food – nourishing my spirit, A mirror – keeping me in check and shape.

+About PrayerThere is a record of 222 prayers in the Bible. 176 in the Old Testament and 46 in the new testament. There are 30 Books in which there were prayers and 36 prayer-less books.

Clearly, God answers Prayers when it is aligned with this Will! 1 John 5:14,15. “14 Now this is the confidence that we have in Him, that if we ask anything according to His will, He hears us. 15 And if we know that He hears us, whatever we ask, we know that we have the petitions that we have asked of Him.”

The Turning point in Getting all your Prayers answered, is ensuring that you are praying in line with God’s will! The perfect example in Prayer as in all things is Jesus Christ. WE can learn from what he taught and how he Prayed!

Page 11: How to pray May 8

+Prayer Lessons from Jesus1. God must be revered and hallowed, not for what He has

done, but for who He is! Matt 6: 9b. “Our Father in Heaven, Hallowed be Your Name!

2. Have no Agenda! Submit absolutely to God’s will. Discipleship is all about submitting our wills to His Will. The greatest plus to prayer is the murder of personal agenda. It is not easy! John 6:38 - 38 For I have come down from heaven, not to do My own will, but the will of Him who sent Me. Matt:6:10 “Your Kingdom Come, Your Will be done on earth as in heaven.

3. God’s Agenda must be our priority, our needs come second. Our needs are also not individualistic needs, but must cater for our community. When we seek God first and put Him ahead, every other thing falls in place. Matt 6:11 “Give us this day our daily bread”.

Page 12: How to pray May 8

+Prayer Lessons from Jesus1. What is Jesus showing us about Heaven and Earth? Your will be

done on earth as in Heaven. Gen 1:1, Gen 2: 1, Gen 2:4. Acts 7:49, Isaiah 66:1,2

2. Jesus submitted himself for baptism, an image of death to self and life in God. A picture of Submission to God’s will. The Heaven’s were opened to him. He began to Operate on earth, but in the Heavenlies. Mark 1 – Capernaum, Mark 5 – Gadara. John 2:25 – He read minds. He won every, every, battle!

3. What is the House of God? How is it a House of Prayer? Matt 3:16, Mark 1:10, Gen 28:17, 1 Chron 17:12, Acts 2:30, Acts 7:49, John 14:2, Isaiah 66:1,2.

4. Dominion in the Place of Prayer. Walking in the Victory that Jesus already wroth. The Body of Christ! Heb 2:8,9. Ps 8:5-8, Rom 8:29 What Adam Lost – The Destiny of the Church, John 1:12,13. John 1:50,51 – Greater Miracles! John 14:12. Power comes after testing for Total Submission Matt 4 – Temptation.

+Scriptures

It is more blessed to give than to receive. (Acts 20:35)

1 Thes 5:12-18

12 Now we ask you, brothers and sisters, to acknowledge those who work hard among you, who care for you in the Lord and who admonish you. 13 Hold them in the highest regard in love because of their work. Live in peace with each other. 14 And we urge you, brothers and sisters, warn those who are idle and disruptive, encourage the disheartened, help the weak, be patient with everyone. 15 Make sure that nobody pays back wrong for wrong, but always strive to do what is good for each other and for everyone else.

16 Rejoice always, 17 pray continually, 18 give thanks in all circumstances; for this is God’s will for you in Christ Jesus.

Page 24: How to pray May 8

+The Way He Wants You to Live!

12-13 And now, friends, we ask you to honor those leaders who work so hard for you, who have been given the responsibility of urging and guiding you along in your obedience. Overwhelm them with appreciation and love!

13-15 Get along among yourselves, each of you doing your part. Our counsel is that you warn the freeloaders to get a move on. Gently encourage the stragglers, and reach out for the exhausted, pulling them to their feet. Be patient with each person, attentive to individual needs. And be careful that when you get on each other’s nerves you don’t snap at each other. Look for the best in each other, and always do your best to bring it out.

16-18 Be cheerful no matter what; pray all the time; thank God no matter what happens. This is the way God wants you who belong to Christ Jesus to live.
