The key to hosting a successful Halloween party (or any other party) is planning.
These tips will help you create the spookiest party your friends have ever attended!
• Black and Orange theme (Halloween colours)
• DIY hanging bats -string and cut-out bat shapes
• DIY spider web –stretch out cotton balls for quick but effective webs
• White silly string –the canned spray
• Fly and tie up kites in your
garden to make it feel like
there are spooky bats
surrounding your house!
• Put pumpkin lanterns by your
front door to tell all your
guests where the party is
• Glowing eyes - All it takes is loo roll & glow sticks• LED strip lights create the perfect lighting in a dark
room for a scary atmosphere• Carved Pumpkins with a candle inside• Glow sticks

• Halloween gadgets and props help to bring your party to life!
• Fake spiders…EVERYWHERE!• Place Zombie gnomes at the
entrance• Hang skeletons around your
house. Hide one behind the shower curtain.
• Fake pumpkins. Make sure nobody tries to eat them!

• Make sure you stock up on face paint and fake blood!
• Fangs if you’re a vampire!
Plan your outfit weeks in advance if you can as Halloween costumes can sell out pretty fast!

Once the door opens, there are the occasional people who love a good trick that doesn’t involve eggs, toilet paper or spray paint.
Learn a few magic tricks to perform for your guests as they
arrive at your party!

Do some charity fundraising.Have a pumpkin carving competition or remote controlled zombie race. Ask your friends to donate if they want to join in.Winner gets to try your secret Halloween cocktail or other devilish concoction!
• Pumpkin Toss – who can throw a pumpkin the furthest?
• Pumpkin Bowling – Knock down toilet roll with a pumpkin
• Witch Pitch• The Doughnut Challenge
• Make a playlist with some spooky songs (be sure to add Thriller by MJ!)
• Stock up on alcohol (adults only!)• Use disposable plates and cups so there’s no washing up.• Use Party Bags if you have lots of treats left over!
