Simple overview for creating art in Photoshop. Photoshop lends itself to drawing and colouring with a variety of brush effects and be ability to layer and collage scanned or drawn items. I would recommend drawing with a Wacom tablet or similar drawing tablet rather than a computer mouse to avoid muscle fatigue.

300 dpi is high quality, if you want to use a lower quality image for a website, lower the dpi to about 97.
