Here you will need to stand with your legs quite far apart from one
another and parallel to each other too. Turn your left foot away from
you so that it is at a right angle. Your right foot should then be turned
inwards to you at an angle of 45 degrees.
As you breathe in lift your arms so that they run parallel to the floor
and then as you breathe out turn to look down the line you have
created with your left arm. Your left knee should be in line with your
left foot. Next you will need to inhale deeply and as you do you will
need to stretch your body towards your left foot and lean down on
your left hip. Your arms should follow this movement so that your right
is pointing to the sky and your left is on the back of your calf muscle.
Your head should be positioned to look towards your right arm.
Breathe in as you straighten yourself back to the starting position and
breathe out as you bring your arms back down. You will then repeat
this movement but to your other side. This will strengthen your back
and elongate your cartilage.
