The Bits of Software

1. This allows you to print anything to a PDF instead of onto paper. (You just select PDF995 as your printer)

2. Don’t know what this is but why the hell not, its free.

3. This allows you to join multiple PDFs or extract pages from PDFs.

Alls the software is intuitive & easy to use

Select PDF995 as your printer

• So with PDF995 you can make any Word or Excel file into a PDF that can’t be edited (easily).

• e.g. Word forms from BADER if you want to host them on a Sqn website and not have people edit them.

Make PDFs of Memory Map1. Plan your route on Memory map

2. Get the route into the centre of the screen

3. Press “Alt” & “Print Screen” Keys(this copies a picture of the window you’re looking at to the

‘clipboard’)

4. Open any image editor (e.g. ‘Paint’)

5. Paste the image from the clipboard.(Edit->Paste)

6. Select the bit of the image you need (i.e. cut off the title bar etc. from Memory Map)

7. Copy it (Edit->Copy)

Make PDFs of Memory Map8. Open a new, blank Word document9. Paste the cropped image (Edit->Paste)

10.Annotate as appropriate.11.Print to PDF995

Takes no more than 2 minutes – just looks complicated
