Canva is a free web-
based
photo editor that’s easy
to use.
It lets you create
stunning images
that look professional.
You don’t even have to be
a GRAPHIC DESIGNER.
Let me show you how:
Log into your Canva
account.
You will see this:
You can choose from
the popular design types
which have pre-set
dimensions.
You can click the (+) button
for more options.
Other options.
You also have the option
to use custom dimensions.
Enter custom width and height in these boxes.
For this tutorial,
let’s make a Facebook
post.
Click this:
Another tab will open:
On the left, You will see
some pre-made layouts.
Some of them are free,
some of them are not.
Let’s choose one.
Click this:
You will see this:
Let’s change the quote.
Click the text box until this
appears:
Select the text to be replaced.
Type the new quote.
You may drag the elements in the graphic
to arrange them or to make sure
everything is well-centered.
You can also change the
font,
font size,
and the font color.

Next, let’s change the background.
You may click this:
and choose from the pre-
made background
patterns.
Or you may click this:
and this:
and choose a free picture
provided by Canva.
You can also upload your own photos.
For this tutorial, let’s
upload a photo.
Click this:
then this:
You will see this:
Choose the image you want to upload.
Wait for this circle
to be filled:
Choose the
uploaded image.
You will see this:
It looks funny, so let’s fix it.
Resize the image by dragging
one of the corners.
Drag and resize until
the whole image fills
the canvas.
That’s it!
Now, let’s download the graphic we just made.
Click this:
You will see this:
Let’s choose PNG by
clicking this:
You will see this:
Just wait until you see this:
You can rename your image. It’s up
to you.
Hit save.
Tadah! We just made a
Facebook graphic.
