How To Make Animate a Graphic In PowerPoint

Note:

• This technique will only work on an object that was created in PowerPoint

Step 1: Cut and Paste Your Graphic Into Your Presentation

Problem:

• Your graphic may be grouped together as one graphic.

What this means is that when you select the needle to animate it, you

will only be able to animate the whole instrument.

The whole instrument rotates.

Step 2: Is to Ungroup Your Graphic

1. Select Your Graphic

2. Select the Draw Button on the Draw Menu

3. Select Ungroup

4. You may have to do this a few times depending on how many times the graphic artist grouped the graphic

Step 3: Now Click on the Needle to Select It

Step 4: Go the Slide Show Menu To Animate Your Needle

Click Custom Animation

Ok! Let’s say we want to accerelate to Mach .7

• Step 1 is to go to the Add Effect Then Select Emphasis and then Select Spin

Step 2: Select Custom and Clockwise

You will have to keep trying until you find the right amount of degrees of spin

Now you can accelerate your Mach Meter to Mach .7
