Avoid long sentences.Avoid abbreviations and acronyms.Limit punctuation marks.Words per line - not more than 6 to 8.Lines per slide - not more than 6.Do not read - Slides are for the audience.

Limit the number of colors on a single screen.Bright colours make small objects stand out. Do not use Vibrant colours as they are difficult to read.Use maximum four colours on one slide.Contrast colours make better impact.In case of neutrals use accent colour.

Keep the design clean and uncluttered. Leave blank space around the text and graphical imagesUse one or two large images instead of small images.Prioritize images avoid barrage of imagesMake images all the same size.Use the same border.Arrange images vertically or horizontally.
