The problem?
Lessons.
Speak from your heart.
Your presentation should be authentic and original.
It should come from within you, not from your notes or slides.
Prepare.
First, write down your own ideas before going to Google or PowerPoint.
Build a storyline, a flow.
Practice, Practice, Practice.
“What we hope ever to do with ease, we must first learn to do with diligence.” - Samuel Johnson
Present.Let your passion through; don’t try to hide nervousness.
Use a conversational tone. Don’t read out slides!
Make eye contact.
Minimize movement except if you’re comfortable walking on the stage.
If you have to use slides,Consider Guy Kawasaki’s
10/20/30 Rule.
Eliminate noise.
Watch grammar.
Limit text, use images.
When your presentation is good…Your audience stays engaged.
Your message is passed across successfully.
Your listeners remember.
Ultimately, A good presentation is more than bullet points or beautiful slides or speaking style, Substance counts…let it come from your heart.
Your presentation should stir your listeners toward change –a call to action, or at least spark up a conversation.
Thank you.
