How to install Mongoose Pro JLR SDD Pro V139

Mongoose Pro JLR is Dealer Level Automotive Diagnostic Scan Tool for

Jaguar and Land Rover, JLR SDD V139 software release, here, we share the

installation guide of V139 JLR mongoose SDD software.

Mongoose Pro JLR also is a low cost VCI for factory diagnostics and

reprogramming.

How to install V139 JLR mongoose SDD Pro ? Pls follow these steps:

1). There is a DVD in JLR Mangoose SDD Pro V139 Package. Find the DVD and then insert it into

your laptop.

2). Open “My Computer” and then ” SDD_DVD139_FULL (E:) “. The JLR SDD V139 disk may be

different if there is other device connected to the laptop.

3). Copy and paste two files “Mongoose Pro drivers” and “PATCH” to the desktop.

4). Open “MongoosePro drivers” file, right click on “Drivers for MongoosePro JLR”, select “Install” to

star

installing its USB drivers.

5). Click “Next”, select “I accept” and then click “Next”.

6). Click “Next”, click “Install”, click “OK”, click “Finish”.

7). Open ” SDD_DVD137_FULL (E:)”

8). Select the language that you want to use and then click “Next”.

9). Click “Yes” to restart the computer.

10). Click “OK”, click “Next”, select “I accept”, click “Next”, select “I have read”, click “Next”, click

“install”.

11). Installing KB932823 and a window will pop up; click “Yes” to restart the computer.

12). Welcome to the InstallShield Wizard for SDD, click “OK” and then “Next”.

13). Select “I accept…”

14). Select “I have read and understand …”

15). Select Drive “C ”

16). Click “Next”, click “Install”.

17). Now you will get a window “Would you like ActivateCGM to be the default TIF viewer?” Select

“Yes” and then click “Finish”.

18). Open SDD_DVD139_FULL(E:)” disk.

19). Double click “SDD_DVD139.01”, click“OK”.

20). Click “Finish”.

21). Open “VDF_J_DVD139_V5 (E:)” disk.

22). Double click “VDF_J_DVD139_V5”.

23). Select the language for installation and click “Next”.

24). Click “Finish”.

25). Open “SDD_SPA_LDVD139(E:)”, double click “SPA_DVD139_V1”, click “OK”, wait for a few

minutes, click “Finish”.

26). Double click “VDF_L_DVD139_V5”, click “Next”, click “Finish”.

27). Open the PATCH file, then the “1 Run Patch”, double click “JLRPatch_EN”, click “Start”, click

“OK”.

28). Connect JLR Mangoose V139 hardware to the laptop and you will get a “Found New Hardware

Wizard” window.

29). Click “Next”, click “Finish”.

30). Open “Computer Management” and check for “MangoosePro JLR J2534 Interface” to make

sure the IDS JLR driver is installed.

31). Open “JLR SDD”.

32). Click the start icon to login.

33). Select language, town/city and dealer name, and then click “Continue”.

34). Click “Continue” and then “Manual VIN Read”.

35). Restart the laptop.

36) Open JLR SDD software, click to login, and click “Continue”, “Manual VIN Read” and then

“Read” to automatically read the VIN.

37) Click “Identify Vehicle”, select instrument cluster, click “Save”.
