How to Install Microsoft InTune MDM

Device Enrollment IMPORTANT: If you have XenMobile or any other Mobile Device Management (MDM) software on your device, you must first remove it. To remove XenMobile, follow the steps on the right column.

1. Please make sure all Worx/Secure

applications are removed from your

device, if not kindly delete those apps

manually (e.g. SecureMail, SecureWeb,

Sharefile, SecureNotes and QuickEdit).

2. Delete all your MDM profiles (Settings > General > Profile & Device Management) Delete all profiles.

Go to the Apple App store and Install the “Microsoft Intune Company Portal”

Launch the Intune Company Portal app and tap Sign-In

Enter your email address and password

IF NOT ON CORPORATE WIFI: You will be prompted for your Multi-Factor Authentication. Choose whichever option you want and follow the instructions.

Tap Begin to start the enrollment process

Read and understand the following 3 slides but tapping continue until the Enroll button is available and then tap Enroll

It will start to enroll and prompt for you to install profiles and certificates soon

Tap Install to add the management profile

Enter your PIN that you use to unlock your device, if you have one setup on your device

Tap Install

Tap Install again

Tap Trust

Tap Done

Tap Open

Tap Default MDM and then tap Done

You’re now enrolled! Tap Continue

Tap Done

It will force you to reset your password

Application Installation and Configuration Open the Intune Company Portal application to view the list of applications recommended or available for you

Tap on the application you want to know more about or install Example here will show for Microsoft Outlook for Email, Calendar and Contacts

Click to Install the application from the Corporate Store It will push the application, tap Install * If you already have Outlook installed, you can stop here and open the Outlook application, where you can go into settings and add another account using your email address and password

Open the application once installed and follow the wizard to add your UHN email account using your email address and tap Continue * It should automatically find your Office 365 account and you can tap Add Account

Go through the tutorial on how to use it

Click OK to “Your organization protects data in this app”

Outlook installation completed. Follow any or all of the steps above for any other applications you want to install
