Here are some PowerPoint ideas and steps

that will improve your PowerPoint presentation

and could make you presentation fly. Background color

Background / Font / color

Background color, text color, and font size are important tools that can improve your PowerPoint presentation.

1. Click on FORMAT at the top of the screen. 2. Click on BACKGROUND.  The backgrounds box appears. 3. Click on the small down arrow.  4. Choose the color you want or click on “more colors” or “fill effects” for

more choices. 5. Click on “APPLY” to add background to your slide. 6. Click on “APPLY TO ALL” if you want to add the background to all

your slides.

Nothing improves a presentation like the addition

of pictures.

They help the listener to visualize what the

presenter will be likely to say and enjoy while

the presenter is giving his presentation.

To add in a picture select Insert > Picture > From

File.

and what can you do to catch your audience’s

To include a screen shot simply press the Print Screen button. This button, sometimes labeled "Prt Scrn", appears towards the top right hand side of the keyboard. If you are using a Microsoft keyboard you may have to select function lock first.

Animate your presentation

A great way of improving your PowerPoint presentation is to add in animation or to use builds.

To get your slides animated you need to use the custom animation feature in PowerPoint.

The 2007 PPT comes with this option. All you need is to go to toolbar and click on “Animation” icon. Then choose the one that you like.

CONCLUSION

Finally, I would say that adding pictures, choosing background

colors that match the text color, and choosing the right font size

will make your presentation more effective, more efficient, and

will inspire your audience.
