Yet… •25% of NPR’s subject-matter experts were people of color.
•11% of sources on “Morning Edition” and “All Things Considered” were African-American.

Gender Diversity

Women make up 51% of the U.S population.
Yet… • Female reporters covering
reproductive rights and campus sexual violence featured women in 42% of their quotes.
• Male reporters featured women in only 27%-28% of theirs.
