• An important part of going about an interview is to analyse what the company is seeking in a candidate. Make a list of the skills, knowledge, professional and personal qualities that are required by the employer.

• It will help you to prepare answering interview questions and to ask the interviewer questions. You will also be able to find out whether the company culture is a good fit for you.

• If you have a Sat Nav ask them their postcode so you don’t get lost. The worst thing that could happen is turning up late for your interview which will look bad on you because they will think you aren’t bothered.

• While in the interview seat have confidence and don’t look or act worried. Also do not hesitate as it will look better if you speak confidently. The interviewer wont want to hire someone that doesn’t seem to co-operate with confidence.
