- Think about the types of phrases prospects & customers use to discuss your business, product or service.
- Once you have a hand full start typing these into Twitters search bar.
- You will start to see a list of tweets, mentioning your chosen phrases
- Begin talking with these people & answering their questions.
- If your product or service solves their problems, point them in the direction of your website. (NO HARD SELLS)
Advanced Search Parameters- Use quotation marks to search for exact phrases such
as“I need an Account”
- Use ? after a word or phrase to find questions being tweeted around these phrases such as;
- How do I start a limited company?
- Use :( after a phrase to find negative tweets around these words. This can be used to monitor your business name, service or product, or your competitors such as;
Competitors name :(
Use the minus sign – to remove words which could confuse your search such as;
Manchester Utd - City
In Summary - Think about words your customers or prospects use to talk about your business.
- Search for these phrases within Twitters search bar.
- Interact with people mentioning your phrases and build a report before asking for the sale.
