• 1- Air is available everywhere• 2- Compressed air can be easily stored• 3- Air can be easily transported.• 4- Explosion proof.• 5- Compressed air is a very fast working medium

• 2.2-Disadvantages

• 1- Air contains dirt and moisture (needs good preparation)• 2- The exhaust air is loud (noise)• 3- Air is compressible (no uniform and constant piston speed)
